Singers in Primo develop the ability to sing in tune and match pitch. They learn unison singing, and simple part-singing. Primo singers learn to read music using rhythm patterns, melodic patterns and simple score-reading.

Brio singers are able to match pitch and sing a part independently. They learn vocal production techniques and music reading skills while demonstrating an increased level of focus, preparing for future participation in Ragazzi.

Brillante singers develop in-tune singing in more difficult two-part music. They focus on score-reading and sight-singing as well as developing a growing understanding of tone production. Singers are expected to demonstrate focus in rehearsals.

Grades 6 - 9

Cantabile singers are challenged in expanding their vocal production, singing multiple-part harmonies, and sight-singing in two or three parts. They sing in multiple languages with complex rhythms and tonalities.
